High Lonesome 100: 2017

We staggered up the last few steps in the dark to the top of Monarch on the Continental Divide trail. A relentless wind slapped me in the face, and kept on slapping. Exhausted, sore, and half-asleep, I stare into the read-view mirror of our van.
